Full itinerary

This 7-hour private tour of Xitang Water Town starts with a pickup from your Shanghai hotel at 2:30pm.

Once you’ve been picked up from your hotel lobby, relax in the car ride over to the town. It takes about an hour and fifteen minutes in no traffic. As you ride, take in views of China’s scenery, and hear stories from your guide about the Yangtze River regions. Learn about the history and culture of these regions. Then, Stop by at Jinze Water Village where you can enjoy a 25-minute boat ride.

In Xitang Water Town, follow your guide around through alleyways as he or she shows you the town illuminated at night. You can even go through some of the same alleyways Tom Cruise did while filming Mission Impossible 3.

Your first stop is at West Street, where you can spend some time shopping if you’d like (own expense). Then, enjoy dinner at a local riverside restaurant before making your way back to your vehicle. Your tour ends with a ride to your hotel. Get back to Shanghai at about 10:00p.m.
